Humans, Sindar

Opression
The Sindar descend from the Zephra to the west. Their people were refugees from a great calamity in the west long ago (some demon? Some dragon? Some devil?). They came across the sea to the central continent: Aligoria, crawled upon the shore, and were given a “place” in society by the Tessinae--a place of indentured servitude and class- and race-based oppression. They are kept poor and helpless by the ruling class, and many live on the streets of the port cities, making do. The Tessinae know them as creeps, and thieves, and criminals, although they pay lip service to taking care of them, and having compassion for them, etc. The High Society of Tellarus has a number of Sindar Assistance Programs, fussing with them and advocating for their rights, although few of them have everr met a Sindar in person. Those poor wretched things!
Appearance
The Sindar are pale and freckled, often blue eyed with red or bright red hair. Their stature is often a little shorter and slighter than other humans.
Back in Bair... Sindar History and Oppression
Were once scapegoats for anything that might go wrong, big or small Being sneaky and good at subterfuge, and trained in the way of stealth, the Sindar were conscripted as assassassins and spies among the uppers of a rival houses / tribes in Bair So in so doing, they earned the ire (double now) of the tribal chiefs, and especially some specific clans And so a light was cast of them; they would be "turned out": no housing provided, no food availablel, no rights and frequent arrests on sight.... Hard hide.   The people of Bair felt safer, up against this scapegoat... More Sindar arrested, the safer and more solidarity. Something was being done about the famine and unrest in the land. All the tribes (nearly) united against any lawlessness, and war ceased for the time being. The Sindar were blamed for everything.   So the Sindar fled by ship, by whoever would take their coin most of ten to Western Aligoria, to Tellars or the Eastland Towns and Villages beyond it. They made their way as best they could, sometimes with the kindness of Halflings to help them, poor creatures!
Sindar In Bair and Across the Globe
The Sindar can be found across the globe though, except in Bair, where their population has all been killed or displaced. Perhaps a few remain, for who knows what reason? There are said to be assassins that plague the Tribal Chiefs, mysterious people who prowl and attack in the deep of night... These people, whoever they are, would meet with the gravest of public punishments..The Sindar descend from the Zephra to the west.   They are kept poor and helpless by the ruling class, and many live on the streets of the port cities, making do. The Tessinae know them as creeps, and thieves, and criminals, although they pay lip service to taking care of them, and having compassion for them, etc.     And indeed there may be more presence of the Sindar in Bair, but few can varify it. Some officials suspect they have an underground resistance to their oppression in Bair, and they operate a group of assassins and infiltrators, with the overall goal of revenge. (In fact, they do!) The name and nature of the LAS is described on the below document:   Language The Sindar speak a unique brand of common that almost always gives them away, unless they have worked to hide their accent.   The League of Angry Sindar
