Jack City: The Fountain of Youth

The Raven Family (The Kortico) makes a bid at their western border, for a section of Liar's Hill. Somehow it is worth fighting for. Apparently there is something ther worth fighting for.   It is a fountain in an old, ruined village square, the likes of which are rumored to grant the drinker eternal life.   In fact, there is a spring there, and a spring-fed pool that grants total healing, and an additional 2 hp (to permanet max), along with a full day of damage resistance 5.   The pool came from a magical clerical people that once lived in this place, many many years ago. There was a group of good Wyranian clerics, followers of a god named Lukkstabba (in the current tongue) or Lukkasta in the Narran tongue currently.   The well is 1000 years old and has passed from keeper to keeper, but is now in disrepair, and guarded by and ancient Lukkstabb lion spirit. The Drow know the place, but they fear the lion and its good energy.   There is a lion them to the place, and a lion spirit guarding during the day? Any approach to steal the water will draw a lion out of the statue(s).  Any time of day, to meet them when their within 40' of the well.  The Lion is good and will guard first, attack only when others encroach.
DESCRIPTION
You come to a strange sight in this place for sore eyes.  In what must have once been a village circle of some kind, a drizzle wets the paving stones, so broken and busted that their more like angular stones covering the ground.   The circle is surrounded by houses and low buildings, abandoned by the look of them, broken up like the paving stones.  The scene is drab and busted up, except for one thing...   In the center of the circle there is a structure that might once have been a village well.  A circle of low stone stands there, the limestone still in remarkable shape compared to the pavement around.  Built on a platform that covers the well is a large statue, larger than life, of a roaring lion.  There is a golden gleam to the statue, even in this gloom, and it seems to be looking directly at the party.       There is a bucket, still intact, that can be lowered into the well.  The water has a slightly aura to it, white and gold.  It provides full healing, and 5 damage resistance for one day.
