OUT OF TOWN
- Esso Fezerentical (or just "Fez") has a little building half-a-mile out of town, among the lower and more rocky hills. It is a tiny little house, a fire burning merrily in the hearth in the receiving room.
- Fep offers hot drinks and conversation.
- In the back, there is a makeshift bed, and shelves of books.
- Fep is half-elven, escaping the shunning by Elven clan in the Lacq
- "Living alone suits me anyway, although I do appreciate [a little desperately states] visitors now and then."
THE THREE MANSIONS, UP THE HILLS
- One is the Skwaash House... Busskar and Sons made a mint as middle-men in the Dwarven steel trade
- One is the Larg House... Big money since who knows when, and who knows how. Barta Larg makes an appearance in town once every five or six years, they say. For all they know, she might be dead. No family known.
- One is "the Fence," a mansion occupied by the eccentric Skuude family. The have been known to donate money to local weapons and armor dealers, or mercenaries that show promise.
- Ledda Skuude comes to town now and then, given bows and hellos from all. She sweeps through, ever graceful. The Skuudes make their fortune in investing in military endeavors, especially up in Brannd and across to Kuttosi. The Skuudes are particularly opposed to the coming of the King's forces.
