Ze uses a cane due to zir classic EDS, with soft, stretchy skin, generalized joint hypermobility, joint instability, and easy bruising. Ze also experiences pain, fatigue, and poor wound healing.

Personal history

Badr al-Amin was originally born in Palestine and later immigrated to the United States when ze was about five years old, seeking asylum from Israel's attacks on their home country.

Gender Identity

Badr is an intersex person who was assigned male at birth. However, ze grew up exploring zir gender growing up and is trans/non-binary (agender specifically), presenting more feminine than masculine. Ze has had all the feminization surgeries and because of being trans, zir parents disapproved greatly. Instead of relying on their approval, Badr cut contact with them and went to live zir life the way ze wanted to.
