Come-at-a-body

Harmless oddity native to New Hampshire's White Mountains; about the size of a housecat. It is known to sprint suddenly out of the brush directly at a person, then stop suddenly, hiss and spit like a cat, then spray like a skunk and vanish again. Supposedly, they have fur as soft as a kitten's.
