Cu Sith

Not to be confused with Black Dogs, cu sith (coo-shee) or fairy dogs are large canines of fae origin. They are shaggy, usually green in coloration and vicious when unleashed. The fae sometimes let their dogs loose during the night, when they hunt and kill everything from livestock to humans.

Finding teeth is good luck and can be used to cure most livestock illnesses and to block the influence of witches. -Dex

The bark is supposed to be deadly, though it seems the third bark is the worst. The first two are just warning before they show up and rip you to pieces. -Dex

If found in repose, give them a wide berth and they'll usually leave you alone. They can also be repelled by regular dogs. -Carolyn
