Elementals

Elementals are powerful magical creatures associated with specific magical elements. They are especially drawn to catalysts [Maddie] hoorah. who are a more abundant source of energy given their natural connection to leylines.

• Ifrits are fire elementals which appear as larger than average humanoids with fiery eyes and flames in their mouths. They are drawn primarily to the spirits of murdered people seeking revenge.
• Nymphs are earth spirits which appear as attractive young women with dark complexions and hair, black eyes and clothing made from plants. Nymphs are one of the few varieties of elemental-kind who are not actively harmful to humans and have been known to marry humans and bear magically-gifted children.
• Aurae are elementals of the air. They appear infrequently, but are drawn to the tortured souls of the raped and unavenged. While Ifrits will feed on the spirits of the murdered, Aurae feed on the spirits of the rapists, often releasing the raped souls in the process.
• Naiads are water elementals which appear as attractive young women with blonde hair, pale skin and even paler eyes. They are prone to attraction and romantic entanglements with humans, but prove to be violently jealous. When unattached, they are drawn to the spirits of wronged lovers or unfaithful partners.
