Summoning - Spirits

Common ghost summons are used to call haunts to a location for banishment or to request information from a known spirit. The spells are usually fairly simple but frequently used in conjunction with wards and other protections.

Effect

Draws a specified spirit to a location and binds it there.
Material Components

Gestures & Ritual
The binding location is marked with chalk or paint while caster chants the spirit's name. When the marks are complete, the caster steps back and gestures to the space with both hands and says, "Here I call thee."   To dispel the summon, the spirit must either be destroyed with fire or the binding marks must be broken with iron, typically using an iron nail to draw a groove through the circle.
