Warrens and Their Work

Ed and Lorraine Warren were two of the most famous hunters in history, both to hunters within the community and to the population at large. Responsible for investigations into the Amityville house, the Perron family haunting, the [England; Conjuring 2] and the [Devil Made Me Do It], much of their work has been sensationalized into major motion pictures and the inspiration for dozens of horror movies, books, tricksters and charlatans. In spite of the highly public nature of their investigations, Ed and Lorraine were the real deal. Lorraine Warren was a gifted medium and psychic with genetic ties to the Nordic Psychic Tradition. The Warrens believed strongly that facing the paranormal head-on was preferable to the cloak-and-dagger, backwoods hunting which is more traditional for hunter-mages. They were endorsed by the Church of Rome and acted frequently on behalf of the organized Catholic church.
