Wishing Well

Thought to grant wishes if offering are made. This comes largely from the belief that gods presided over wells and would react positively to offerings made into them, usually coins and sometimes clothing. It goes back to Ancient Greece.

From what I've been able to confirm in the field, it's usually a specific kind of coin that matches with the spirit of a particular well that grants the wishes. Wishes are usually really limited, like "where is my brother right now" or "I want to breathe underwater." --Dex, 2001
