The Second Giant War/The Siege of Alioth

"The Second Giant War" is a term used to refer to the very brief attacks of the giant coalition on Alioth during the tyrannical rule of the Regent King Gideon Didonson and Archmage Magnus Amaran. This conflict officially began on 15 Septembris 225 ADW with the destruction of the war meeting on the 50th anniversary of the peace made after the last war, and ended in the early morning hours of 3 Octobris 225 ADW when Magnus was finally defeated in dragon form by the party. The Siege of Alioth officially refers to the night of 2 Octobris when the combined forces of the giant onslaught and a small group of rebels in Alioth overtook the city, freeing it from Magnus's grasp.
