By casting gem-inlaid sticks, rolling bones, laying out ornate cards, or employing some other divining tool, you receive an omen from the flow of universal energy about the results of a specific course of action that you plan to take within the next 30 minutes.   The GM rolls 1d4 to determine the results randomly, or chooses from the following possible omens:

  1. Weal, for good results
  2. Woe, for bad results
  3. Weal and woe, for both good and bad results
  4. Nothing, for results that aren't especially good or bad
If the outcome is weal, the caster can give Advantage or Disadvantage to any one roll in the next 30 minutes.   If the outcome is woe, the GM can give Advantage or Disadvantage to any one roll in the next 30 minutes.   If the outcome is weal and woe, both the caster and the GM can give Advantage or Disadvantage to any one roll in the next 30 minutes.   If the outcome is nothing, then the spell has no effect.   During casting, the caster's eyes are momentarily filled with a white mist. Observers will not notice this effect unless closely watching the eyes.
