Brooklyn Sarah Morland
Brooklyn (called Brooksy by her father) is the daughter of Elijah Morland and Sarah Cowell. After Elijah and Sarah divorced, Brooklyn has been used as a pawn in her mother's attempts to make her father as miserable as possible.
Brooklyn is Elijah's "mini-me," with the same teeth, eyes, and hair as him. She loves her father very much and does not want to go home to Sarah when her weekend visitations are over.
Hannah Lambert is Brooklyn's 5th grade teacher. She has a real soft spot for the pre-teen, torn between her parents. Juan Miller is in Hannah's class also, and Brooklyn develops a crush on him during the school year that goes unrequited. Juan is still in the girls-have-cooties stage and although Brooklyn is "pretty cool" for a girl, he still doesn't like her. That'd just be crazy.
