Raser EW

Strongest manmade Energy Weapon. Used widely, even as a capital ships main artillery weaponry, since it can be almost terrifyingly damaging, with its firepower almost insane (but with no manmade raser capable of firing really quickly, not to mention the strain it puts on reactors).
Rasers are used almost exclusively in space, simply because of its immense firepower and the potential threats to planets as a whole (noone really wants to think of what would happen if one fired it at the planet surface, especially with said surface beings its target, since it would quickly melt everything quite deep). Not to mention the heating of weapon itself in atmosphere. Almost every 'decent' country can create them, making them quite widespread.
They work by focusing and amplifying roentgen rays (with its abbreviation further shortened, since it should be named Rraser, rather than Raser). Raser ray of the same length and width will be 100x times stronger than vaser... and 20 000x times stronger than laser. They form a main weaponry of warships from heavy cruisers to the dreadnoughts.
