Dwarf

The dwarves of Kriegcastel were nearly wiped out by the red dragon Sanguine. All for a single magic item. They had bet big on technology and it had failed them. Afterwards, dwarves split in three directions to find their way once again. Duergar (Gray Dwarf) The dwarves originally came from the Elemental Plane of Earth, or so it is said, and many chose to return there. The Duergar are the dwarves who grow up in a world only underground, where nothing lives on the surface. They've never seen the sun and, when above ground anywhere, have to wear special goggles so they can see in brightly lit environments. Hill Dwarf In general, the dwarves who moved into the cities of the new world. Hard workers and tough parents, tend to live and work with their families. Typically building managers or land lords. They get a lot of hate. Mountain Dwarves The most "traditional" of the dwarven cultures. Mountain dwarves believe in arranged marriages to ensure the continuation of their culture.
