Sorcerer
Because they don't need spellbooks or patrons to cast spells, sorcerers fell into more administrative roles in the cities of the New World. They are the government, the church, the government and more. Wizards and warlocks resent how much personal power sorcerers have gathered for themselves.
Sorcerous Origins
Aberrant Mind. Think fantasy NASA. They're determined to develop the magic vehicle that'll allow them to finally map the multiverse, travel to the outer planes, and make peace with our Gods. Clockwork Souls. Teachers. Educators. From K-12 and even colleges. Divine Soul. They've created their own church, The Church of the Divine, from which they rule. According to their teachings, you too can become like them if you are pious enough. The collection tray is right there dear. Draconic Bloodline. Several dragons wanted to see if they could have more than one bonded dragonborn. They could not, but they discovered a similar ritual that makes these draconic sorcerers. Most work in service to one of the dragons, but this ritual can be accomplished without the dragon's consent. Only their blood is necessary. Shadow Magic. Wardens of the Shadowfell holding the line against the undead and the multiple Otherworldly Patrons who command them. Storm Sorcery. Weathermen. They control the weather. Not a hard and fast rule, but see if you can give them a weatherman name. Wild Magic. Some people believe the Weave is gaining consciousness, a personality from everything we've added to it. Is wild magic random? Or are these sorcerers chosen? They generally work to keep tabs on the Weave's activities.
