Daryl, Danger, Indigo, and Mirian must free Hearthstone City from a tyrannical Oathbreaker Paladin filling the power vacuum.

In the time since the party was last at Hearthstone City, things have gotten much worse. The Paladins, led by Captain Balto, have declared Martial Law. They arrest and harass refugees and in response, a resistance movement has sprung up, led by a half-elf named Whitney. Now, Leonis Justus has summoned the party because he doesn’t believe in the paladins anymore.   The party sneaks in to Hearthstone City with the help of a Gnome who definitely fucks. They drop their weapons and pick up some fake IDs to move around the city safely. As they travel, the party makes a scene in the street and attracts the attention of several paladins. They make a run for it and manage to escape, finally arriving at a little bar.   Through a secret door, the party finds a resistance meeting room underground. Whitney finishes up an inspiring speech and they meet up with that jabroni Leonis Justus. He explains that most of the higher ranking paladins have broken their oaths and lost their divinity. They have no right to enforce justice any longer. These Oathbreakers must be stopped and Captain Balto must be taken down. He wants to salvage the paladins here. He introduces the party to Whitney. She would rather dismantle the paladins entirely for the sake of the refugees. Both agree that Captain Balto is dangerous, so they all gather to come up with a plan to take the Prefect’s building.   A paladin raid attacks the meeting room and only the party, Leonis, and Whitney manage to escape. They no longer have any time. They have to enact their plan tonight.   They use Merielle’s old secret passage to get into the Prefect’s building, fight their way through paladins and Oathbreakers alike, and finally get into Captain Balto’s office. Only she’s already dead. Unsure what to do, Leonis and Whitney ask the party to choose who will take charge now. They pick Leonis because he’s too much of a jabroni to screw the city over. As a reward, they are each given a horse, and they mount up and head towards The Forge.
