Daryl's sister Demi has been kidnapped! The Bonner Boys rush to nearby River Run to find and save her.

Braes takes the party over The Divine Falls in their rush toward River Run. They narrowly avoid Gould and Leonis Justus heading in the opposite direction. North. For a moment they deliberate following, but no. The mission is Demi.   Everyone splits up when they enter town. There are Paladins around and the party isn’t exactly unnoticeable anymore. In the bar Danger meets a bartender more than a little upset with the party’s actions over the past couple of months. Instead of protecting Bonner, they have abandoned it. Indigo and Daryl visit a local Herbalist who strongly suggests they come around back to see his “special stock.” Lyr searches for shoes and finally gets a sweet pair so comfortable that it feels as if he is walking on heaven itself.   The herbalist has a stock of Tor in the back of his store. Weed and other drugs too, but he suggests this strange substance from another country could dramatically boost magic, at the cost of diminishing the length of one’s life. The party notices a bundle of blankets, a sleeping area in his hidden back shop, perfect for a Halfling. Demi was here. Too bad they’re interrupted when Paladins raid the store. The herbalist uses Tor to unleash powerful magic on them, but he’s stopped by a uniquely fast Air Genasi. This monk even tests the party out with a few punches before stopping before them. She introduces herself as Ilmatar, and she wants to talk.   The weather gets rougher as everyone piles into the local cafe. Ilamatar tries to convince the party of how selfish their actions have been, to deny the world peace because they have personal problems to deal with. They counter. With a being like the Moonlit King out there, they can’t leave his actions up to chance. They have to finish the Fey Lord before he becomes even more dangerous. That means no Canticle, at least for now. The weather gets worse and worse as they argue, but when Ilmatar realizes there’s no convincing them, it stops. Outside, a woman in silver stands in the center of town. The Silver Dragon in humanoid form.   Ilmatar helps the party track down Demi, currently being smuggled out of town by some criminals she’s befriended. The party leaps onto their escaping boat and proceed to kill all of the smugglers, brutally in Lyr’s case.   But hey they get Demi!   Ilmatar and Seolfor tell the party that Leonis went after Birinj and the Bronze Dragonborn so he could have all three keys to the canticle. They’ll be in Martial by now.
