The Bonner Boys have earned the full and undivided attention of the remaining Fey Courtiers, who unleash a multitude of punishments on the locations and loved ones dear to the party's hearts.


The Queen of Night and Magic, Queen of Witches, and Moonlit King all plane shift into the Feywild before the party. Mirian asks where the River King is. The Queen of Witches takes center stage and tells him that Ulorian is no longer a Fey Lord. She tells the party there will be reprisal for their actions. They’re sending Sable, who has made a truce with the Fey Lords, to destroy New Bard’s Haven. They’re raising undead in Vaerand to kill the town the party saved. They know where the resistance is. Their partner, Chip Sage, has been scrying on Indigo. The shadow dragons are heading for the goliath village to destroy them all, including Snow Hide, Earlang, Braes, and Birinj. Indigo demands to know where Emerline is, and they tell him she’s back where she started, being tortured by someone under an illusion to look like him.   The Queen of Night and Magic psychically contacts Imdril. She believes he doesn’t want to be with the Bonner Boys, after all he is pure. She asks him to do something for her; Take the amulet of the planes to Meriele’s tree and embed it into her. All he has to do then is call out to her by name. If he does that, she will resurrect Meriele.   More than that, they are going to follow the party wherever they go until they’ve killed them all. The Queen of Witches casts power word kill on Mirian. The Queen of Night and Magic puts a black hole in the room. Just in time Indigo uses the Amulet of the Planes to drop all of them, Cerulean excluded, into the Plane of Air and more specifically onto his mote. They round up to form a plan. They’ll use the amulet to pop back to New Bard’s Haven and head off Sable, Indigo will warn Braes about the attack, and from there they’ll deal with Vaerand and Emerline. Imdril is left behind to watch over Mirian’s body until he resurrects.   Indigo, Danger, and Daryl shift into the material plane in New Bard’s Haven. Indigo alerts Braes of the shadow dragons coming for the resistance. They begin evacuating the goliath village. Daryl runs on stage and warns all of the bards of what’s coming. He gives a rallying cry for them to work together to save the town. The first to stand is Demi Berry.   The bards prepare while Demi takes them to her trailer. There they find Ozan, missing a leg and hiding from the world. They ask him where Cyprium Aes is and he points to a small copper insect in a cage. She’s been cursed and trapped in that form ever since the Battle of Summer. That nagging at the back of Indigo’s mind returns. He misses it again.   Imdril goes to war with the woodland creatures that live on Indigo’s mote.   Sable careens toward New Bard’s Haven. Daryl comes up with a daring plan. He and Indigo go through a dimension door to drop onto Sable’s back. They run and leap off of his head and use the amulet of the planes to shift all of them to the Isle of Dread in the Plane of Water.   The winds around Danger change. The Queen of Witches appears before him. She uses hold creature and teleports them to a pit in a dark room. She drops him into the pit, but his charm of feather falling means he lands completely unharmed at the bottom before he can move his body again.   Mirian resurrects. He and Imdril work together to fend off the woodland creatures.   Daryl and Indigo use the amulet before they plummet to their doom, but this time their control isn’t so precise. They tumble through the material plane, the Shadowfell, the Feywild, before they finally drop onto Indigo’s mote.   All four of them pop around the multiverse looking for Danger. For his part, Danger remembers he has potions of climbing and begins making his way out of the pit onto a desert espanse. He’s surrounded by other pits and a giant monolith with an odd wooden ring sculpture on top. The rest of the party arrives around him. Indigo finally feels the nag of Chip scrying for him and breaks free. Danger attunes to the Orb of Dragonkind and sets it to draw all evil dragons to it, then drops the thing into the pit.   When they get back to Bonner there won’t be any shadow dragons there. As for what to do next, Imdril suggests they find Meriele’s tree made of cold iron.
