Melusine Villeta

A beautiful halfling woman, Melusine's family has lived in the valley for generations and were likely among the first settlers. She has a twisted sense of humor and is not a stranger to the world's cruelties, but she helps others when she can and advises caution where appropriate.

Melusine runs The Crippled Fawn Inn in Duskhollow. It used to be more of a hunting lodge, but recent "renovations" in the town have forced her to turn it into more of a quaint bed-and-breakfast establishment. Still, she's been rolling with the punches, and does her best to provide a high-end establishment regardless of its interior design.
Little is known about her personal life outside of work, but given her lack of squeamishness when talking about monsters and the heads of terrifying animals on her walls, it's not hard to believe she was once a competent hunter herself.
