the plan

my original idea was to describe a island where some creature was merciful to now allow any land creature in his soil the pain of livin, or for other reason like a secret tomb or something kill any creature that walk the soils but i start messing with a lot of things and kinda forgot about this event, but while i was describing one thing or another i deside to start writing about a fallen colony that maybe someday in my own history the main character could investigate what happens on this old mining and trading base, or writing a short series about how this settlement was during his golden age and how it fall fell free to write both if you want, my plan for this storyark is to be related to a godness older than manking, bein a more cosmic horror arc in what is normally a supernatural style action investigation show, bringing a sense of danger and fear to a character that ussualy bring fear to the hearth of his enemies
the only way i could possibly use 300 words when i could express my point with 179 is by trying to explain my idea for this universe basically in on the very botton of the worldbuilding shyndrome, maybe i was ment to build worlds for role playing games not a single history,so i create a entire universe where i could dream of bein anything from a angel to a demon, and dosent matter what my imagination was, the world was the same,maybe i change some details,rendering wharever i already imagine uselles, but the core idea behind was always the same, so recently in trying to write the world, beliving that if i could narrow down exacly what i want this world i dont have to retcon all my previous work because i decided that this world is now dieselpunk,or that magic isnt x, this way i could create the history i want to read, and you probally want to read as well, a journalist unraveling conspiracies, a soldier recovering from his traumas of a past war, a kid that need to find balance between gods and man, a archeologist exploring ruins of a era older than manking, a explorerbeing the first to contact life in another planet, and if i have a good fondation to my story i can write a good story, or at least one of thoses meh stories that one only read because the universe is engaging enough, and thanks to you showing this amazing site i can do this
