Bones of Fihreiro Targaun
Local legendary figure Fihreiro Targaun was a champion of Tuteala the Hammer of Duty who rose to his role when circumstances opened a gate unleashing the agents of Kakon the Scourge on the south of the Pecararo Headlands. A prototypical follower of Tuteala, Fihreiro was an ironworker or smith who was dedicated to protecting his community. When fiends bent on destruction ready to kill the locals arrived and began turning them to the Unmaker's army of undead began attacking his village, he wielded the tools of his trade to halt their advance.
Many miracles and powers are attributed to Fihreiro, but common among them are descriptions of his ability to shatter the icy bones of his enemies with his fiery hammer. After the battles with Kakon's icy devils, the champion of Tuteala Hammer of Duty went on to hunt the agents of the Umbrane lord and the Wyrm Tongues or priests of Kakon who had called in the soldiers of their dark master. The cabal fled to locations all across King's Bay after their plans failed.
Fihreiro Targaun is said to have suffered many wounds in his battles with various devils, witches and warlocks, but he survived them and went on to spread faith in Tuteala and the Celestia in their war against the Umbrane. When he was old and grey, Fihreiro returned to his home village to enjoy a hard earned peaceful life. When he eventually passed his remains were secured by clerics in a secret catacomb beneath a local temple, and several in the region hold annual services honoring him and the every day defenders and reserves like him who inspire a sense of security in their neighbors. His bones and other relics are said to play an important part in recruitment rituals for the dedicated followers of Tuteala.
