Tubol Long Tongue
Rumors of a leader among the goblins of the region surrounding the Ostunho Massif have been popping up in recent years, gathered by a variety of sources. Tubol Long Tongue is described as powerful and fearsome, not just by the many stray minor goblins jumping at his commands, but also by the higher brutes and tricksters of Hoabb's goblins under his influence. The beginnings of a cult appear to be forming around the goblin lord.
Among the tales gathered from his creatures are opportunities for rewards, given to underlings who gather humans for Tubol Long Tongue to feast on. This has of course led to a rise in raids on nearby settlements with those victims not slain in the encounter being carried off by the cursed ones. A few of the damned have claimed to be witness to the boons their master has granted to raiders who have returned with captives, such as magical powers of strength or regeneration. Favored champions among the lesser goblin rabble blessed with Tubol's favors have begun gathering more devotees to his cause.
Priests of the Sovereign Host in the region have begun speaking of omens and messages from their patrons of a growing evil nearby. It is unclear if this is Tubol Long Tongue himself or a power he serves, but the tide of danger from the goblins infesting the Ostunho Massif and greater Meshka mountain range is growing. Some fearful rumors have suggested that Tubol is no mere goblin restrained by the weaknesses of a human ancestor but a pure blooded demon walking the first world of Lorgaire, spawned from the generations of abominations allowed to fester here. Smallholders and minor lordlings of the surrounding hill country have made increasingly frequent calls for aid to suppress the threat.
