Lorgaire

Lorgaire is a high fantasy setting broadly defined by its cyclic connections to the outer planes. The first world, or material plane, of Lorgaire is currently a place dominated by humans living with a Dark Age level of technology supplemented by common but weak magic. They are accompanied by some other races who at first glace will seem familiar, and their world is intruded upon regularly by outsiders such as elementals, fiends, and more mysterious powers. This kaleidoscope of influences have for many millenia driven the rise and fall of species and civilizations, who have left many intruiging and dangerous mysteries for the adventurous to discover.
