Jongvale

Founded: 523 MION Population: 20,000+ Current Ruler: Kwin Gang Though frequent interaction between the Freeborn and Roamers had occurred for hundreds of years, Jongale was developed as a symbol of unity between the two nations despite the development of the Throat of the World which gave quite the opposite impression. Catering to trade mostly, the city found it was at odds with its design, almost acting as a buffer between the Roamers and reaching beyond the gate. Despite its failure in the task, the population grew quickly, the Freeborn preferring the more animalistic or natural feeling of the wilds.
Today, the city has inadvertently taken on a new role, providing foreigners a taste of the wilds with the relative safety of its coastal position. This concept has shaped Jongvale into something resembling a tourist attraction giving outsiders a view of exotic races’ cultures without the need to impose on their reality.
Significant Locations The Wilds. A meticulously crafted fighting pit designed with each of the favored terrains of the various bestial races to include plains, mountains, lake, and forest. The pits are the city’s lifeblood, encouraging contestants to throw off society’s expectations and embrace their lineage, all to the sound of clapping hands.
The Historic District. A clever deception that showcases the bestial races living in unsophisticated dwellings and displaying base instincts. Tourists are kept within as inns, restaurants, and shops are all geared toward maintaining the show. The district is a common stop for those heading toward the excursions of Seemeet and Fool’s March.
