While technically, under Duthdar’s control, the settlement is left with only minor interactions with traveling merchants. Those that arrive will find a blend of cultures, families building collective homes loosely arranged together, no formality and no pattern
City Dynamics Anti-Duthdar Culture. Despite being referred to as uncivilized, the tribes of Strongjaw are peaceful people simply looking for a home away from the perceived tyranny of the Empire. Their way of life functions in stark contrast to the Dragonborn, from viewing all as equals to using a barter system and refusing to be controlled by currency. Many attempts have been made to conquer the southern peninsula. In response, Duthdar representatives are met with hostility after passing the marked land border.
