Founded: 1420 GM Population: 76,000 Purpose: Garrison The training location of the Salzar, the garrison, is responsible for protecting the water source, which flows to the rest of the realm, and deploying troops across the western realm for civil order and external protection. While commissioned only as a garrison, a large sprawling village has developed in the nearby hills, the residents removing themselves from the politics of Yi Ti while benefiting from the protection of the garrison.   Named for the lighting across the foothills as the sun sets behind the Sea Arena, the city has been declared the most beautiful settlement on Zeto. This claim is contested by the Eastern Realm at all times. Despite being a training ground, the quaint village is peaceful, far removed from wars and land struggles. It is only once a decade that the grounds buzz with excited energy as the population swells for the Zeto Games, once a decade.   City Dynamics Call to Arms. Those seeking to join the Salazar, or have their children take on this honor find themselves seeking a home in Sundance. Training can occur as early as ten years old. Still, unlike other military forces, cadets are encouraged to live with family, understanding the core reason they are fighting for. Having a child selected is a great honor, parents boasting over drinks and comparing test and physical trials scores.   Significant Locations All-Seeing Keep. A heavily enchanted fortress, all movements of the Salazar are commanded from the tower, which hosts a powerful telescope. Generals can see troop movements in real-time, giving them an advantage in all skirmishes on the western side of the Scar. The Salazar hosts the largest standing army in Gia, averaging 80,000 actively serving.
