Thurram

Founded: 305 GM Population: 55,000 Purpose: Port Constructed quickly into the new era, Thurram was the first city after the departure of the Primes, the underground city of the Champions regarded as a prison to most of the remaining population. Though constructed at the base of a mountain, the original city resembled a traditional layout, including a port allowing trade and exploration.   As time went on, the arrival of the Dwarves expanded the layout to create a functioning city internal to the mountains, splitting the city into two districts. This lasted until the Great Freeze with now only a functioning port remaining of the outer city, Thurram taking on the culture and design of the reigning Dwarven race.   City Dynamic Cautious but Welcoming. Shieldbreakers stationed in Thurram are trained in detecting deception, looking for attempts by the Western Realm to penetrate their defenses or gain access to the Wealth of Gia. Those that arrive in the port must declare intentions, with those deemed unfit or unworthy promptly remanded to the port and deported quickly.   Significant Location The Treasury. An extension and first branch bank of Darngarum, shipments of minted coins and bars are stored here before departure. The Treasury also allows direct deposits into the Bank of Darngarum, a secure and direct Triple D rail used to move precious cargo. So long have thieves wished to discover the route this rail took as its contents could provide a lifetime of happiness and wealth.
