Vendoruni

Founded: 583 REM Population: 260,000 Purpose: Garison A popular location for settlers of the realm who do not wish to live underground, the city was officially founded as the fortress and stronghold for the Shieldbreakers, allowing quick deployment through the mountain and into central Zeto. Despite not being the capital, it hosts the largest and most diverse population in the Eastern Realm, the entire conclave of the mountain teeming with life and excitement. A large subset of this population draws their lineage back to the Great Trail of those that decided to remain and make Zeto their home.
City Dynamic Calm within the Storm Though always at war, the residents of Vendoruni live away from politics and warmongering. The city is a haven for young families, a life spent in the agricultural fields or markets more worried about the Harvest festival than who controls the reagents within the Scar. The city falls under the purview of the Dwarven Lords. However, it is mainly left on its own.
Significant Location Dwarven Tunnels. Deep in the recess of the mountain, the construction of an advanced tunnel network is ongoing, an attempt to reach and emerge in the Western Realm undetected. Resources are directed at this initiative, with massive efforts by the Shieldbreakers to maintain secrecy. The frequent festivals and supplies gifted to the populace are a smokescreen for this effort.
