Windrip

Founded: 546 GM Population: ~1,550 Purpose: Outcast Militia: None Founded initially for an exploratory force to venture north, Windrip served as the major port city for the first three eras, featuring the largest port on Irragin. Located so far north, only a few ever make it to Three Streams during the Freeze, the rest perishing. As the population reemerged, ports were given first priority for reconstitution; however, as the trade winds had stopped, the city was all but abandoned.   Today, Windrip is a collection of abandoned redwood vessels tied together into a makeshift floating colony. Mostly left to their own devices, the city does not receive waterway shipments and has no formal military. Those that remain seek a peaceful life, detached life from mainland society.   City Dynamics Forever Nautical. Despite a ship’s inability to depart the coastal city, the population has retained an over-the-top nautical atmosphere, even rigging tow lines across the inlet to allow for “sailing.”
