Session 9 Report

General Summary

With Iarno snuffed out of existence the gang debated how to dispose of the body while Halia made her way back home. Iarno's was ultimately buried in the patch of forest south of town, vertically, with his head exposed and smothered in honey to attract the denizens of the woods. Wynn also made herself a nice new set of knuckle dice from the wizard's hands, slim chance of residual magic though.   And with that the party headed back to town and took rest at the Stonehill Inn again. They rested and in the morning deliberated on their next steps. As they ate and talked a young woman and her child came in. The boy was Carp and he was off to see his friend. The woman ate and spoke to Trilena for a bit before introducing herself as Qellin. She told them that she hadn't meant to but had overheard the parties deliberations. She advised the party to find a druid by the name Reidoth in the nearby ruins of Thundertree.   With detailed instructions of how to get there the refreshed adventures set off. It would be a two day journey to Thundertree. On the first day a small pack of goblins confronted the group, demanding payment. With a flick of their wrist Wickenwynn complied and sent a coin to the goblins. Only, it was a bit aggressive for the goblin's taste and they attacked.   But four goblins against six average civilians may take the fight, but in the half tenday that the Party had found their lives upturned they had come a long way from average civilians. The offended goblin rushed forward but missed in it's attack, a few blows were exchanged before the Golric of the group grabbed the goblin and threw it at another.  A stream of magic missles killed two of the goblins and all but finished the fight.  The surviving goblin attempted to flee before being struck down with an arrow.     And the Party marched on.
