Causes

In Qudros, there is a common issue. This issue is people being overly concerned by the leaders' actions. They were even beginning to riot. After this began to happen, the nobles decided to create something to stop it. It was created as a disease that manifests in the brain. It is transmitted by nanites which are thrown out into the air in a gas explosive. When the nanites enter the lungs, they open up and release the illness.

Symptoms

It manifests itself with no physical symptoms other than lung irritation for a few days. However, after a few days of this, the victim is fine physically. After this time, the only physical symptom is a slightly more square shape of pupil, not noticeable unless you're looking for it. The biggest symptoms are the mental ones. The subject will almost instantly find themselves no longer caring about things. Their emotions begin to fade. They find themselves not really feeling anything, especially negative emotions.

Treatment

An electromagnetic pulse can destroy the nanites before they open, if possible. If the virus is released, it can be cured by the remove curse spell, or by leaving the country for a full month.

Prognosis

Getting this condition usually is not fatal. The only cases in which it is fatal are when either the lungs are very sensitive, or when the target itself is very emotionally sensitive. This condition does, however, often result in complete emotionless in its victims.

Prevention

This can be prevented by wearing an electromagnetic pulsar on your body, as it will destroy the nanites before they enter the body.

It usually starts during political discourse, as this usually causes riots and people get upset. It usually begins here, then the disease exists more.

Many people don't care too much about this disease. The people who get infected are usually not liked by society, and they are not killed, simply made emotionless. People are often to scared to do anything about due to fear of getting it as well.
