Fireray Firearms

You march along the course grass sprouting out of the rocky ground. The sound of harsh, sharp footsteps echo through the air like thunder. Your army marches along side you. Pride bubbles up in your chest. It is replaced with righteous anger as you see the Akrus army appear over the horizen. Their disgusting flag flies above their heads. You equip your Fireray Gun, lashing it to your arm. Today, you will take back this land. Today, you will be victorious.

Utility

This was originally created to make a more powerful version of the standard firearm. It is a large, rifle style gun which shoots powerful blasts of superheated energy. This causes severe, circular burns that do more lasting damage than normal firearms. In severe, close combat, it can even go through the full length of the body, killing someone instantly. This is occasionally misused by people who don't know how to use it, to burn things like food.

Inventor(s)

This was created by the Agents. They are an advanced race of incredibly intelligent beings who travelled to Ebelar through space before the Losing. Scientists of their original planets and many of their colonies. This was then brought into Ebelar when they came here and began to set up a country on the continent of Eshaque.

Access & Availability

This is really only available in Eshaque, and even then only to very high ranking military officers such as Silvers and escorts. You must be very highly ranked to get this, so no civilians can easily get their hands on it. While it is occasionally stolen by commoners, this is remarkably rare. This is given to military officers to either defend or attack, as it is a very powerful weapon.

Complexity

This is a very complex weapon, and therefore only those who have been trained can create it. There are very few people who are actually trained enough to create these guns, and all of them currently reside in the continent of Eshaque.

Discovery

This was brought to Ebelar by The Agents. They brought this technology here from their home planet. It was discovered there when scientists wanted to advance firearm technology. They merged the emerging field of laser science and firearm technology to create ray firearms.
