Gauntlet of the Horrors
You sneak quietly up to the massive, ornately carved wooden door, using your rodent stealthiness to move up to the securely closed and locked door without being heard. As you press your huge ear against the door, you focus all of your hearing on the room inside. You hear from within a massive booming voice, low and growly, stating, "Have you found anything?!" Followed by a shyer, quieter voice, "No. We've been searching for for months and we haven't found anything new." You ache with intense curiosity about the subject of this conversation. A third voice, much higher in pitch and muffled slightly by fur adds, "Listen, we've been searching for ages and we can't even find a clue as to where the Gauntlet is, maybe we should just give up?" The first voice continues, "NO! You will continue searching for the Gauntlet of Horrors and you will bring it to me. If you don't, I will do it. I will not hesitate." You begin to hear loud, stomping footsteps coming towards the door. You dart off, your heart pounding with exhilaration, fear, and excitement. You think you have found your new goal.
