Graduation Day Lesson for Migrants of Akrus students
A Lesson in Servitude of Akrus
You walk into the large room. There are thirty small chairs in neat, even rows. The plain gray walls with no windows and black tile floor are familiar to you. The thirty small children are new to Eshaque. A new group of refugees have arrived. Of course they came here. Eshaque is the best continent in the world, and Akrus is the best country. Qudros is a scourge on this lovely land. "Let us begin, class," You state in a loud, mechanical voice. "Today you will finish your schooling. But first, let us recite our pledge." 30 small children of various types recite perfectly the pledge of Akrus in sync. You pull down a screen from the ceiling and press a small button on your wrist. This is the last video the students will see before they go out and are assigned a career. It begins. "So, you have completed your schooling and are ready to go out into the world. Now you must learn how to serve." You don't hear the rest as you close the door behind you.
