Cantharellus

At the beginning of the war the king, Winterfern II, and all the warriors left the Fairy Kingdom to help the humans in the Thousand Year War. The fairies were incredible archers and mages; but during the war, the King was killed. The fairies suffered huge losses in troops, and only a few of them made it home. The heir to the throne, princess Autumnale was too young to fight so the fairies hid in a village built of mushrooms on an island. The new capital was named Cantharellus. The princess was crowned Fairy Queen not long after the war had ended, and the fairies have lived in peace with the other kingdoms since. They are still in pain from the losses suffered during the great war.
