What are Nostralovish Priests?

The Nostralovish have priests that work in their temples and work alongside the chief of the village. The Priests have duties such as caring for the statues of their deities, managing the offerings, organizing festivals, doing rituals, and filing the number of crops made each season. Most priests enjoy their job and spent years studying in order to become one. There are five priests, each one is in charge of managing the worship of a deity, and is a medium to them. The priests live in the temple and get a few special privileges. 

Why aren't Priest appreciated?

Most priests are unvalued for all their hard work. Villagers tend to call priests lazy behind their back and say the real work is the chief. The chief does do more work than the priests do, but the priests still work very hard. The chief doesn't mean to but normally takes credit for most of what the Priests do. The Priests are appreciated and loved for the rituals they help do. 

How does someone become a Priest?

In order to be a priest, you have to have a few qualifications. One of the qualifications is being married, it doesn't matter the gender of the person you're married too they just have to be your spouse. Another qualification is working and studying under a past priest or working in the temples. In order for a person to become a priest they must meet all the qualifications, then after one of old priests retires or die an "audition" of sorts is held. The other priests and the chief decide who they think would be best to become the next priest.
