Emi

Emes are the invisible originators and origins of all life in the known world and beyond. Portrayed as both separate individuals akin to gods and as more abstract entities present in every plant and animal, they are the subject of song and spell in every corner of the world where people still follow the Old Ways.

Though rare, it's not unheard of for a people to follow only one or two emes, largely ignoring the rest. One such instance are the Aqāye people of the Great Plains, who follow the emi of the horned tuehma, Kaitueme as they herd the beasts across the plains.
