Iedëlunwë
In the stories told by the islanders of Aellasar, three ships crossed the horizon over a ten day journey to reach what the clans would come to call home. The Storm Sea raged that last day, and the vessels and their crews searched desperately for a safe landing spot. That's when they discovered a small cove hidden between tall cliffs rising from the ocean waves. Where the ships landed became known as Iedëlunwë, "first shore".
Later on the settlement grew and became something of a central hub for the families who made a place for themselves in the western coast of Aellasar. The land was cold but lush with evergreen forest and rich with fish, deer and many a small animal to hunt. Rocky shores turned to woods and fields further inland until reaching a large, lonely mountain at the island's heart.
