The floating carts are what keeps our nation, and the wealth, of it running. Distributing wares, letters and whatnot, even travellers with time pressure, they have become crucial with the growth of the nation. They're pulled in caravans by our precious
Ceremi.
History
When
Lapita was discovered it was rather a nice toy, but some enlightened
Lucemi had the idea of to attach them to carts to make them float. This has greatly increased the travelling speed of our caravans. It would be wonderful if we had more of this material, but as it stands we don't have too many of these carts. I fear that somewhen we will ahve to find a different approach on this, we don't know how much
Lapita is still in our grounds and we don't know it's origin. If we don't have an exchange before this happens logistics will face huge problems.
Usecases
When a long distance has to be travelled quick, when something heavy has to be moved or wares distributed the floating carts are a great help. The
Lucemi hauling material out of the
Caves of Edi are happy to easen their burden of carrying. In the bigger Cities some are around to distribute materials and move heavy objects, some guilds use them in their workshops for just that. The caravans touched only need leaders in difficult or unkown terrain due to the outstanding attributes of the
Ceremi. The
Lucemi deeply appreciate this combination and their arrival, in small distant villages in particular, they don't witness them nearly as often as the
Lucemi in the cities. When they arrive the wares are collectively stored and assigned, some recieve orders and letters from afar. The children love to play with them; watching them float, sitting on them floating around and when they jump on them they bounce! This also counts for the gentle
Ceremi, they love having the childs around while resting, occasionally even giving them a ride.
