The Force of Life

The Soul is the amalgamation of Energies that make up the consciousness of all living beings. Unlike a Shape, Souls are lively Metaphysical constructs that can animate themselves and come in a wide variety of appearances, but usually take on the Shape they possess.

Untethered From Time

An arcane construct, the Soul is untethered from the cause & effect of time & will not shift or change due to biology, but instead changes as more energy & information are given to it. When a Soul separates from its body, it floats freely in The Veil as Memories for a while before being Forgotten.
Because of this, no conventional method of death is sufficient to ensure the complete destruction of any single soul - instead, additional steps and alternate methods must be taken to ensure the complete dissolution of a soul.
