Once the world was chaotic and disorderly. There was no distinction between good and evil, and the races lived in constant war and anguish. Then Lucidia awoke from her slumber; seeing the plight of the races, she took pity on them and granted them two gifts, arcanum and spirtum, through which order was established as the races became able to distinguish good from evil.
