An upyr' in Ladeisk
This upyr' led a group of hooded navii into the Convent of Holy Dormition in the Ladeisk citadel, and attacked it. After being pressed, the monster escaped, and tried to clamber up to the convent roof. Augusta was able to bring it down with divine fire. Then it was bound and questioned. It said that it did not fear death or pain, and added that Agapia had torn the veil between the Visible World and the Netherworld, and now, creatures like himself will be able to step through the tear at will, and that Agapia and her companions shall henceforth know no peace. The creature was then beheaded and burned, and the pieces were buried. But the upyr' gave the strongest indication yet that the eating of the golden egg was going to draw creatures of darkness to Agapia from all corners of the world.
