Local militiaman

This is a member of the Zmiihorod town militia. He was stationed at the arsenal near the town gate when Irina and Vashti came asking questions about their stolen horse and sled, which were taken the previous day by people who appeared to be dressed as other members of the militia. Seemingly swayed by the nun, the man did some asking around, and later came to the citadel to report that one of their accosters, Mitia , had taken their horse to Yasnyi, his home village.
