The basic unit of value is the kopeck - a silver coin weighing approximately 2 grams. In practice, it can weigh more, given admixtures.
Rubles are trade bars, or ingots. They do not bear the markings of a particular mint, and are typically used in large trades, or are kept in official treasuries.
As Lukomorye lacks truly centralized states, the names and values of different coins can vary, but the following is generally applicable:
Northeastern Nor'
- 50 pulo (copper coin) = 1 kopeck
- 1 den'ga = 1/2 kopeck
- 1 kopeck (basic unit)
- 1 altyn = 3 kopecks
- 1 poltina = 50 kopecks
- 1 ruble = 100 kopecks
- 1 gold ruble = 1000 kopecks
Kochmak areas
- 1 pul = 1 pulo (1/50 kopecks)
- 1 tanga = 1 den'ga (1/2 kopecks)
- 1 dirhem = 1 kopeck
- 1 dinar = 1 altyn (names are interchangeable) (3 kopecks)
- 1 gold dinar/altyn = 10 altyn (30 kopecks)
