The year cycle in Nor' begins in the very early fall. The priests had a difficult enough time getting peasants to adopt new names for the days, so they decided to forego inventing a new terminology, and continue to use old heathen names for the months.

- Listopad (Leaf-fall) - 31 days
- Gruden' (Freezing) - 30 days
- Studen' (Snow-cold) - 31 days
- Sechen' (Hewing) - 31 days
- Liutyi (Cruel) - 28 days (29 every 4th year)
- Berezozol (Birch-coal) - 31 days
- Tsveten' (Blooming) - 30 days
- Traven' (Grazing) - 31 days
- Krasen' (Red-dye) - 30 days
- Lipets (Linden) - 31 days
- Serpen' (Reaping) - 31 days
