Narty
Narty [pronounced NAR•tih; sing. NART] are mountain-dwellers who live in the Toros Mountains between the Southern and Eastern Seas. They are mostly sheep and goat herders, but their hardy lifestyle accounts for many of them becoming highly sought-after warriors. The Narty are especially famous for blood-feuds between individual clans and small kingdoms, but the clans drop all rivalries to deal with intrusive outsiders. Some of their warlords and sorcerers are in the service of mountain spirits, who can be helpful, or rapacious.
Narty that live abroad have organized a far-flung merchant diaspora.
They are mostly Gaalites in religion, though some have adopted the Bahite faith as well.
Like their neighbors the Irii, Narty are mostly tanned people with dark hair and dark eyes.
