Ratibor

Ratibor is the leader of the volkhvy at a forest encampment to the north of Vlasovo. He is a wizened, though imposing man with flowing white hair and beard. 
He seemed quite knowledgeable about each of the companions, and eventually persuaded them to undergo a series of trials in some nearby caves, possibly implying that that was the only way for them to be able to speak to Khoma.
