Lukor

Created by

Lukor. A world ravaged by a god unhappy with his creations, punished for their faults and constant conflicts with nothing short of a heavenly hammer. A world once inhabited by great nations, empires spanning entire continents, is now filled with beasts the size of city blocks and hybrid people with no allegiances except to themselves. Four points of civilization remain, hidden behind city walls that seem to touch the sky. Korage, a monarch city filled with thieves and scoundrels, lies on the western banded continent of Lu, alone in its watch by the sea. Vycant, a city hidden in the trees, once the capital of the Elven empire and now home to swindlers and scholars alike. Third, the disgraceful slaver city of Asalle, painted all in white to hide the bloodshed that built it. Finally, the city that hid away under gold and stone, Cruvos; built under the extensive Cruvran Mountain range of the massive continent of Kor.   The world returns to what it once was, but it has taken time to reach such a stable state, but like with many other mighty tales, there is an unrest among the people. Those who do not enjoy the luxury of living inside the towering walls of the four cities are growing increasingly unhappy with their constant state of struggle. Marauders and outlaws, some escaped slaves and some simply young people looking to rise above what the world has given them, have gone from lonesome groups to a more united force under the mysterious 'Bandit King.' While unknown to much of the public, attacks on city guard across the world have the respective governing bodies scared into a constant state of restlessness.   A world once inhabited by massive empires of Elves, Dwarves, Humans, and the underwater/amphibious Ut'areens now lies a crumbling society, filled with fanatics, evil queens, innocent bystanders, and one, lone magic user. Their choices, however, have remained the same for centuries: fight, hide, fall, or thrive.   _____   Lukor came to me as a world for a roleplay by myself and a close friend following the idea of "what if this fantasy world had no exact elf/dwarf/human distinction? what if everyone was mixed/a hybrid of several different races?" From there, I've planned out four books following this world and its characters. I've fallen in love with Lukor, and I hope you can to. :)   Thank you for reading!
