47th Session
General Summary
The session begins in the Leery Companion where the party and expedition will stay as a storm passes. They meet an assortment of characters including griever guide Jack, his partner Peter and Gayvn. Sometime during the night, a paladin of the order Brotherhood of Retribution is murdered.
The party believes that Jack did it as the part of the final neurological imprint was of cat's eyes. Jack says that the paladin blood was not shed on Jack's blade and that the cat's eyes could have been the eyes of Death who is a tabaxi while within a zone of truth. But he also points them turns finding a fire mage as the paladin had an unusual burn on his hand.
Ellie discovers that Gayvn is of fire using detect magic while also finding that Tasha is of sound and Daniel is of All. She confronts Gayvn in a storeroom with zone of truth and he attacks her. Theo, Tasha and Daniel come to her aide and they defeat him. They tie him up, wait for law enfrocment to take him away and get his story.
